Out of all of the animals in our great big animal kingdom, which of these animals do homosapiens share the most characteristics with? On the opposite side of the spectrum, carnivores have paws and claws and walk on all fours. Their super sharp canines easily kill its prey and tear through raw flesh. Their urine is acidic and the size of their intestines are only1 1/2 to 3 times its body length.

On the other end we have humans. Humans walk upright and have prehensile hands. The opening of our mouths is much smaller than our carnivore/omnivore counterparts. We have rudimentary blunt canines and flatted molars to easily chew fruit and vegetation. If we tried to kill a cow or a pig with the biological features we were born with, we would not be successful as we are not effective predators in nature. Anytime a human sees an animal suffering or in pain, the majority of the time we feel compassion for the animal and try to help it out.

If humans were true carnivores, we would stalk our prey, salivate at the sight of it, catch a live animal with our "canines", rip and tear the animal to shreds then sit back and enjoy the entire bloody carcass all the way from its tendons, ligaments to the entire brain. When people see such graphic content of an animal being killed, they typically look away or feel sad. If humans were naturally intended to eat animals, we would not only enjoy the process of animals being killed but we would be able to kill them ourselves with our innate biological features. There’s a reason why we protect children from seeing animals being killed, it upsets them. If given the opportunity, would a child kill a bunny rabbit with its own hands or would they play with it? If the child killed it, we would consider the child to have mental issues, yet when we conform to societal norms, we all accept the killing of animals.

Our physiological features are far more similar to frugivorous and herbivorous animals than animals of a carnivorous or omnivorous nature. Even omnivores like bears consume a diet that consists mainly of grasses, roots, berries, and insects. They will also eat fish and other mammals but the majority of its diet will come from plants or from human foods and garbage. If our #1 killer is heart disease, which is heavily influenced by saturated fat and cholesterol and is 100% preventable, then how come we don't see carnivores get atherosclerosis or heart disease in nature? Because atherosclerosis only affects herbivores. Humans get disease because they are simply not eating their species specific diet.


Which food grows highest in the sky, has the highest vibration and electricity, is the most nutritionally dense, fastest to digest, fuels trillions of our cells, fights against disease, heals the body and tastes the sweetest?

The highest nutritional and electrical energetic foods on this planet are fresh raw fruits, vegetables, herbs, seaweeds, nuts and seeds. These are the foods that were designed for humans to eat. It is essential to eat at least 50-75% of your diet from these raw fresh, ripe, whole foods. These foods carry the power of life in them and are full of enzymes which are needed for proper digestion, absorption, utilization and assimilation. 

We are the most biologically advanced species on Earth. Similarly fruit is the most advanced part of a plant. It has to be, since it’s responsibilities relies solely on the progeny of the plant itself. Fruit, in its strict botanical sense, is the fleshy and ripened ovary of a plant, enclosing the seeds.

Have you ever met someone who doesn’t like fruit? I haven’t. We’re told by so many that fruit high in sugar so we should limit our intake, however fruit doesn’t really contain any sugar, at least not our conception of it. Man made sugar is not the same as god made sugar we find in nature. One promotes cancer and death, the other, health and vitality.

Not only is fruit healthy, but it’s also a work of art. Geometric patterns exist in fruit and all around us in nature. They are the perfect shapes and patterns that form the fundamental templates for life in the universe. Sacred geometry is an ancient science that explores and explains the energy patterns that create and unify all things and reveals the precise way that the energy of creation organizes itself with a deeper metaphysical meaning. These shapes offer insights into the basis of the world around us, helping us explore the idea that the entire cosmos was created according to a specific geometric plan. Behind the chaos, there is order. This “blueprint” that underlies the structure of everything reveals itself through patterns, frequencies, ratios, and forms across disciplines. Sacred Geometry is just one component in a vast concept of synchronicity. The synchronicity between nature, science, music, math, art, and the physical world.

Seed of Life

The Seed of Life and the Seven “Days” of Creation which the Bible also mimics this geometric procession. Seeds are magic potent vessels of nature. They hold entire intelligent blueprints for life and can lie dormant for ages until the conditions are ripe enough for them to burst into life. As a beautiful metaphor for consciousness, a seed represents the divine design within all things.

Back in 2013-2014, I was following a high-fat raw food diet which included about 2-3 cups of raw nuts, many avocados, and dehydrated foods every day. This actually ended up becoming a very expensive habit for me because some of my favorite raw food restaurants were pricey and sometimes left me hungry shortly after finishing my meal. Frustrated but determined to make a raw vegan diet work, I researched what the majority of long term raw foodists were eating out there. This is when I discovered that majority of these people and athletes were eating a high carbohydrate diet low in fat-based off of fruit when I was eating the complete opposite. I was intrigued since I've always loved fruit so I gave this new type of diet a try and within one month, I noticed that my long-distance running and recovery time improved. I had more energy, and my digestion was further optimized all by basing my diet off of fruit instead of fat. What a concept!?

  • Humans thrive in tropical environments. Why else do we turn on the heat in colder climates?

  • Fruit is easily grasped by the human hand and fingers easily peel and expose the fruit to eat.

  • We have color vision to spot a ripe or unripe fruit that is ready for consumption.

  • Ripe fruit smells amazing and tastes delicious without any preparation or additional food added to it.

  • Fruit contains protein, simple sugars that fuel our cells, water to hydrate the body, fiber and living enzymes that are easily assimilated and digested into the body faster than any other type of food source on the planet.

  • Our human physiology: jaw, teeth, intestinal length, salivary glands, and upright walking completely differ from carnivores and even herbivores in nature.

  • Fruit wants you to eat it so it can spread its seed. Since our bodies do not digest whole seeds, we break them open by chewing and if we eliminated waste out in nature, we would be planting fruit trees and fertilizing plant life.

  • Fruit has seeds so it can regrow. One seed can produce thousands of other fruit trees which can feed the world! It is the MOST sustainable food on the planet!

  • Fruit grows highest in the sky, closest to the sun and makes you feel amazing! Coincidence?

When ripened to perfection by the sun, it is plucked from the tree by the wind and laid as an offering for human kind or animals. It is the easiest food to digest and the least mucous-inducing of all foods.

Keep in mind that many bodies (depending on past diet) are not able to handle large amounts of fruit. I didn't jump into a fruit based/fruitarian style diet over night. I slowly transitioned and increased the amount of fruit I was eating over a long period of time. If you ever feel "off" after eating fruit, remember it’s not the fruits fault, your body may be having an issue with sugar metabolism. What type of diet and lifestyle are you coming from? Have you been taking prescription medications? Instead of blaming nature's perfect food, give your body time to adjust to any new diet or lifestyle change. Most importunity, take responsibly for your past lifestyle choices or any genetic weaknesses you have acquired since these issues tend to catch up with you over time.

Fruits are extremely hydrating and detoxifying on the body so if you find yourself feeling worse from eating more fruit, just back down your intake and understand that the fruit you are consuming is simply doing its job. There was once a time in my life when I could not eat many types of fruits (which included tomatoes and oranges - some of my most favorite fruits now). This was because my body was in a very acidic and toxic state from the types of foods and drugs I was ingesting in my past. I may looked healthy on the outside, but internally it was a completely different story. People tend to hide pain well so try not to judge other people according to their appearances. Below is a chart of the different levels of detoxification modalities. The top is not essentially a "goal" to reach, it is simply the levels you can work your way up to if you need to. Jumping from a high protein diet straight into a juice cleanse may cause an adverse reaction so take it easy and make your way up this pyramid instead of skipping to the top. You cannot rush healing. Place your focus on eating simple whole foods that are alive and full of life like fruit and you will start to feel more alive yourself!

Did you know that not eating enough fruit is responsible for an estimated 4.9 million deaths a year around the world? The Global Burden of Disease Study published in 2012, is the most comprehensive and systematic analysis of causes of death undertaken to date, involving nearly 500 researchers from more than 300 institutions in 50 countries, and starting with almost 100,000 data sources. What did the researchers find? Here in the U.S., they determined that our biggest killer was our diet. Number 1 on their list of the most important dietary risks was not eating enough fruit, responsible for an estimated 4.9 million deaths a year around the world.

According to the Union of Concerned Scientists: “If Americans ate just one more serving of fruits or vegetables per day, this would save more than 30,000 lives and $5 billion in medical costs each year.” One antidote for individuals is easy, painless, and even pleasurable: exploit the multiple nutritional and protective benefits of fruits and vegetables. Fruits are an excellent source of essential vitamins and minerals, and they are high in fiber. Fruits also provide a wide range of health-boosting antioxidants, including flavonoids. Eating a diet high in fruits and vegetables can reduce a person's risk of developing heart disease, cancer, inflammation, and diabetes. Melons and berries are some of the healthiest fruits we can eat because they are shown to maintain our brain power (How to Slow Brain Aging By Two Years) and improve our immune function (Boosting Natural Killer Cell Activity). That’s one of the reasons we want to eat Antioxidant Rich Foods With Every Meal.

 

Myths about sugar


Sugars (carbohydrates) turn to fat

All large populations of slim, trim and healthy people eat a predominately high complex carbohydrate rich diet. If carbohydrates made people fat, then how come we see millions of Asian populations slim from eating a diet based off of starch or rice? People assume foods like pizza and french fries are "carbs' but these foods contain more fat than they do carbohydrates. Processed carbohydrates can only make you gain weight if there is an excessive amount of fat added to them. Fat and carbs do not mix well together yet everyone is quit to blame the carbs. Fruit sugars are completely healthy for the body and are easily metabolized within each cell thanks to its high water and fiber content. Fruit alone does not make one “fat”. If it did then someone like me who eats a diet predominately of fruit and carbohydrates would be obese. Instead, we have nearly one third or 2.1 billion people who are either obese or overweight and many of these people are eating excessive amounts of fat and animal protein in their diet, not carbohydrates from whole food sources.

Sugars create candida

Candida Albicans is a fungus. Leave a piece of bread out on your counter next to piece of fruit. Guess which one will grow mold on it first? The bread of course. Fungus is involved in fermentation and fermentation is the process of he decay of carbohydrates. Misinformed people will blame fruit (which are monosaccharides or simple sugars) for feeding candida when they should be looking more closely at the polysaccharides or complex sugars such as breads. These foods can create more problems with candida, not fruit. We cannot blame fruit for doing its job. It’s our fault when we inappropriately combine fruit with other types of foods which leads to fermentation, fungus or symptoms of candida. 

Sugars feed cancer

To claim this, you are denying what decades of science has proven. To starve the body of sugar is to starve a cell of energy. Long term starvation, acidosis, and even ketosis can actually damage cells and a damaged cell is well on its way to become a cancer cell. Since glucose and fructose are also simple sugars, saying fruit feeds cancer is also saying vegetables feed cancer. Even the American Cancer Society recommends a high fruit & vegetable diet. Watch the talk below from Dr. John McDougall to determine on whether or not sugar feeds cancer. Not to spoil the ending but it doesn’t!

Stay away from sugar

Sugar is essential to life. The main constituents that our bodies need to properly function are amino acids, fatty acids and sugars. Simple sugars (also known as carbohydrates) cannot be broken down any further. Complex sugars such as starches require more cortisol from the adrenal glands to break down completely. Digestion separates the simple from the complex. In other words our bodies cannot use complex proteins, they can only use amino acids (which are the building blocks of proteins) so the body must break down a complete amino acid structure (protein) into either amino acids, fatty acids or complex sugars into simple sugars before the body can use it properly. This is clear evidence that sugars are huge factor in the health of our bodies.

Limit your sugar intake

The human body mixes glucose (or fructose) with oxygen to achieve cellular energy known as ATP (adenosine triphosphate). Without ATP, a cell can weaken or become damaged which is why sugar (carbon) and oxygen are essential for our bodies to function properly. So many of us mistakenly think that protein is our main energy source instead of sugar (carbohydrates) hence the low carb, Paleo movements that very few can sustain long term without serious health implications. This is old propaganda. The only “energy” we feel from animal protein (meat) is simply adrenalin (epinephrine) released after an animals death. Carbon and oxygen (carbohydrates) are our main source of chemical energy, not protein. If you cut out sugar, you essentially cut out life to your cells so prepare for a binge or “cheat day” of processed and refined sugar to give you relief after restricting them for so long.

Carbohydrates are bad

Humans are physiologically designed as seekers of carbohydrates. There’s a reason why our taste buds are able to taste bitter, sour, salty and sweet. We have no taste buds for protein or amino acids on our tongue but cats do because they are carnivores in nature. Sugar (or glucose derived ATP) is essential for us to fuel the trillions of cells in our bodies for energy and function. When someone tells you that they are going “sugar free” or to "stay away from sugar", remember that this person doesn't really know what they're talking about. They will not be able to sustain "sugar free" long term and may be confusing their audience in the process of their experimentation that will most likely result in a binge or create dependence upon stimulants and supplementation. Isolates are band aids. They never address or fix the underlying root cause of why you are experiencing illness or a deficiency in the first place. The only true way to heal the body is through detoxification and regeneration.
