What can a health coach help me with?
A health coach is someone who has both experience and education to and their clients to achieve their health goals through diet, lifestyle, and behavioral adjustments. Living a healthy lifestyle is the key to unlocking optimal health and wellbeing, not just on a physical level but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually as well. Finding the right person to work one on one with is essential. I take on a holistic approach to wellness meaning I look at all areas of your life from your diet, your mindset & thought patterns, mental & emotional health, physical activity, sleep, family & relationships, as well as your health history and of course your goals.

What are Raw Vegan Ginger's qualifications?
I have completed a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and have work experience as a counselor and mentor to at risk teenagers. I am also certificated as a level 1 Detoxification Specialist through the International School of Detoxification and obtained certification as a Holistic Nutritionist from AFPA. As far as personal lifestyle experience, I have lived a healthy plant based whole food vegan lifestyle for almost a decade with an emphasis on a fruit based raw lifestyle for nearly 7 years.

I completed my psychology degree from Oakland University in Rochester Hills, MI in 2007. My clinical work experience in the field included counseling at-risk youth through a rehabilitation process and stimulated group discussion through engaging activities and community service. My one true passion is being a positive role model and healthy influence on our youth. They are the future!

 

How many sessions will I need?
That will depend on your individual needs, your goals, and of course your budget. Some people may need 2-3 sessions to get started on the right track with follow up session, others may need consistent help each week. Either way, I am here for you, just feel free to reach out!

Do you provide meal plans?
Absolutely! I can create an individualized meal plan based off of your unique lifestyle that fits within your budget to keep you on track with you goals. I do not recommend all of my clients to eat exactly like me, nonetheless eat the same way. There is no "one size fits all" approach when it comes to changing your diet and lifestyle. Some people like to transition to healthier eating slowly while others are ready to jump in. Understanding my client’s current lifestyle and health history helps to design a plan that works specifically for them.

I live in another state or country, can you still coach me?
Absolutely! Although face to face sessions are powerful, thanks to technology, we can use Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp, or FaceTime to talk. Some people prefer no face to face and just a phone call which I offer as well. Depending on the current time zone you are in, we can schedule a time that works best for you.
